New Pokemon Game: 'Nobunaga’s Ambition X Pokemon'

The newest Pokemon game was revealed at Jump Festa today and it is something that nobody saw coming! The game is titled "Nobunaga’s Ambition X Pokemon" and will be the first crossover game in the franchise.
"For those that don’t know, Nobunaga’s Ambition is a turn-based strategy RPG series involving real battles in Japanese history by Koei Tecmo, so Pokemon is now doing a crossover with that series and obviously bringing it into the fictional realm."
At the moment only a Japanese release has been revealed for this game. Nobunaga’s Ambition X Pokemon will be on the Nintendo DS and will be released in 2012. It's not too surprising that Nintendo is releasing the game for the DS given that it has a much larger user base than the 3DS currently. No gameplay deatils have been revealed but it might be safe to say that this game will be a simulation RPG that will have Sengoku generals teaming up with pokemon. The game was developed by The Pokemon Company/Nintendo and Koei Tecmo. It's a very interesting concept and I cannot wait to hear some more details. Until then all we have are the pictures from the event. Take a look at the source link for more photos of the Sengoku generals with their pokemon.
