From the description the collection sounds amazing! Add that with the really cool box that the collection comes in and you really have the definitive collection for Harry Potter fans. But is it worth $350? That really is a lot of money. And so far there is no release date for this collection.

What do you think of this collection? Like the contents? Like the price tag?

  1. Of course I am drooling over this, but sheesh! Scott bought me years 1-5 in their very own Hogwarts trunk a few xmases ago, and I found out just how much he paid for it, roughly. It was quite pricey...this however seems to be a better deal, as long as I could get it Blu-Ray. Although, I'm sure that would be even more money. Bastids!

    1. I remember that bundle. It was quite nice.
With this you will get a Blu-Ray/DVD combo + UltraViolet Digital Copy. So you should be all set.
This is a great deal. I'm just torn since I have all the movies already. Depends on the features and stuff.

  2. 350$ does seem a bit outrageous. Amazon will likely have it much cheaper. Would I buy it? Hmmmm. The only thing that would motivate me to buy would be the "5 hours of never-before-seen special features". Hopefully some of these features include more deleted scenes that we know were filmed but never made it onto the previous discs. Even so, I would still only buy if it were on sale.

    1. Unfortunately, the $350 price tag IS coming from Amazon. According to them, list price is $500.
I agree. For me it all depends on the features and like you said, the never-before-seen footage. And hopefully deleted scenes!
Maybe this will drop in price slightly in time, but who knows. One can hope.
