Tim Burton's Frankenweenie trailer and orginal 1984 short
Tim Burton's news adventure, Frankenweenie, takes him to very familiar territory. In 1984, Burton had created a live action film short entitled Frankenweenie. His new 2012 creation by the same name is the same exact film but given his amazing stop-motion animation touch that we have all grown to love.
Frankenweenie is set to have an October 2012 release in theaters.

Frankenweenie is about a young boy named Victor Frankenstein who loses his dog and how he copes (or in this case, doesn't cope) with the fact this his best friend is dead. The story from there takes a fun parallel to Frankenstein.
