J.K. Rowling's new book cover is revealed!

Since the end of the Harry Potter series, fans have been anxiously awaiting J.K. Rowling's next book. Back in February fans were given the joyous news that they would soon see their wish of a new book come true. Though after this announcement information on the book was sparse. Rowling had been doing a very good job at keeping everything a secret (which to fans comes to no surprise with everything she managed to keep secret with the Harry Potter series).

However, today the Little, Brown Book Group (publisher of Rowling's new book) released the official cover to Rowling's upcoming book The Casual Vacancy. Red with yellow trim the cover takes a more traditional style look with what appears to be an X'ed out voting ballot. The book is confirmed to have a page count of 512 which is a decent sized book for those looking to sink their teeth into this new tale.

Book synopsis:
"When Barry Fairbrother dies in his early forties, the town of Pagford is left in shock.

Pagford is, seemingly, an English idyll, with a cobbled market square and an ancient abbey, but what lies behind the pretty façade is a town at war.

Rich at war with poor, teenagers at war with their parents, wives at war with their husbands, teachers at war with their pupils…Pagford is not what it first seems.

And the empty seat left by Barry on the parish council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen. Who will triumph in an election fraught with passion, duplicity, and unexpected revelations?

A big novel about a small town, The Casual Vacancy is J. K. Rowling’s first novel for adults. It is the work of a storyteller like no other."
With the book cover released and the synopsis looking to draw in a more adult crowd, do you think you'll be picking up J.K. Rowling's new book?
