SDCC 2012 - Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two 5 minute trailer and game updates [video]

Disney's Epic Mickey for the Nintendo Wii was a hit with many gamers and at San Diego Comic Con gamers were treated to a sneak peek at the upcoming Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. The creator of the game, Warren Spector, went over a few of the bigger changes that will be present in the game. According to Spector, "choice" will play a big role in the game and can effect the outcome of the game. "One play through is expected to take 10-15 hours, but since the path you choose relies on an accumulation of choices, Warren thinks it will take three play-throughs, six with co-op, to see it all." Cooperative mode is a new feature for this game that will allow players to control both Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. (Otherwise Oswald is an AI controlled character.)

Contradictory to the first game, every piece of dialogue in the game be spoken with some of the characters expressing themselves in true Disney fashion; song! Spector also made it a point to tell gamers that will be playing it on the Wii that they will never have to adjust the camera controls. Word has been circulating that Spector and his team have been working hard to fix this mistake from the first game on the Wii. (The game was already in development for the Wii when the WiiU was announced.)

Below you can watch the 5 minute introduction trailer which will give you a good look at what the game will be like. Enjoy!

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will be released on November 18th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
