J.J. Abrams' Star Trek 2 gets a title!

Star Trek fans have exciting news as the title of the Star Trek sequel has been unveiled. Director J.J. Abrams has decided to title the follow-up to his 2009 Star Trek reboot Star Trek Into Darkness. (Yes, it is typed correctly. There is no colon in this title after ‘Star Trek’.)
“While Paramount will not officially confirm the news, multiple sources have told TrekMovie this is the title they are going with as of now. It has also been reported by ComingSoon that Paramount has secured the domain names to both www.startrekintodarkness.com and www.startrekintodarknessmovie.com, neither of which has any content.”
Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, stars of the first film, commented that this new film will be more frightening and bigger and bolder. With a title like “Into Darkness” this seems to hold true and promise a possibly darker film (if you’ll excuse the pun).  What do you think of this title? Think it’ll bring great new possibilities to the franchise?

Star Trek Into Darkness will jump into theaters on May 17, 2013.
