Debut episode of 'Timeline' by GameTrailers.com features The Legend of Zelda! [video]

Gametrailers.com has created a new 'show' titled Timeline that will dissect a video games' history and mythos and present the timeline in which the games take place. The debut episode starts with the best video game franchise there is for dissection of a timeline. (It also happens to be my most favorite franchise ever!) I am of course referring to The Legend of Zelda.

At 38 minutes 09 seconds, this video takes you through every game in the franchise and looks to place those games in the timeline just as fans did when the games were released. Story elements, game connections, familiar characters, and game creator and developer quotes are discussed while looking to place the games in the right order. As the video approaches its end, Gametrailers then talks about the official The Legend of Zelda timeline that was released by Nintendo in the book Hyrule Historia. 

This video is a must watch for anyone who calls themself a The Legend of Zelda fan and a great watch for all gamers in general. It is extremely well informed on the details of the franchise and for anyone looking for a explanation of the timeline that was created by Nintendo, this is what you've been looking for. Enjoy!
