Doctor Who gets a new title sequence for Christmas! [video]

Thanks to our friends over at Blogtor Who, we now have a look at the brand new title sequence to the BBC Sci-Fi show Doctor Who (which has already aired in the UK). The Christmas Special will air today at 9pm EST in the United States and is titled "The Snowmen".

Go inside the full article to see a screen cap from the new title sequence and to watch the new sequence in its entirety.

*Spoilers for the Christmas Special title sequence.
*NO Spoilers for the Christmas Special episode itself.

The show's title sequence has an all new look and is definitely a throwback to the Classic Series of Doctor Who. Viewers will instantly notice the different visual look but listen carefully as the theme itself has also been slightly updated. However, the thing that fans will most be shocked to see is the inclusion of the Doctor's floating head (in this case, Matt Smith) in the sequence, something that the show used to do in the 70s and 80s. Enjoy! And let me know what you think of the new sequence in the comments!
