Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer get their own show on ABC! And it's steampunk?

Image
It seems that Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer from Mark Twain's 1884 novel Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are heading to ABC to star in their very own show. The show will be titled Finn & Sawyer and is described as "an adventure-themed reinvention that revolves around the two famed literary characters who re-meet as young men in their 20s and form an investigative firm in a bustling and steampunk New Orleans."

Finn & Sawyer will be written and executive produced by Jason Richman and David Zabel (Detroit 1-8-7 and ER). The show could definitely bring up some interesting stories with the characters being in their 20s and being set in a steampunk environment.

Do you think you would be interested in watching Finn & Sawyer?

Batman has been protecting Gotham for 70 years now and his look has changed over that time. But so has the look of his allies and enemies. Take a look at this great infographic that shows the different incarnation of our favorite Batman characters from Bob Kane's Dectective Comics to Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.

It is a little surprising that Robin wasn't included in this infographic but it is still amazing to see the evolution of all these characters through the different Batman eras. Which era is your favorite? What other characters would you like to see on this infographic? How about Penguin, Mr. Freeze, or Batgirl?

Although the details on his character are scarce, we do know that the character is "an acquaintance of the Queen family," and is described as a, "well-dressed man" who is "as mysterious as he is wealthy. With all that money and power, he's one of the most prominent figures in Starling City."

Image
Fans are always looking for new ways to keep their passions alive and fresh. Well the creative team at The Game Station have taken a chance at giving the video game franchise The Legend of Zelda a new look by combining it with a Western feel and have created the three part series titled 'Fistful of Rupees'.
True fans of the The Legend of Zelda franchise will be able to pinpoint dozens of little nods to different games in the franchise such as the classic The Legend of Zelda, Wind Waker, and the fan favorite Ocarina of Time. However, the references do not end with just those games so see if you can find them all! Furthermore, the series incorporates iconic Western moments such as a makeshift chestplate (which doubles as Link's shield from the original The Legend of Zelda).

The series is about 23 minutes long and is great fun to watch. Keep count, how many game references (obvious or subtle) can you find in this series?

Man of Steel will not use John Williams' Superman score!

Image
One of the most iconic parts of the Superman movie franchise is the brilliant score composed by John Williams. The Superman Theme is what really ties the character to the movies, However, it appears that Zack Snyder will not use the iconic score by John Williams! In an interview with Total Film, Snyder stated:
"We decided to act as if no Superman film had been made - even though we love the films that have been made. "We had to say this is a Superman movie for the first time and you can't then go 'Oh, now let's steal a little music.'

"So, yes it's awesome music but Hans Zimmer is going to do something awesome." I have to say that this surprises me. I can understand where Snyder is coming from but I had fully expected the John Williams score to be snuck into the movie somewhere. Even if it was just a whisper of the theme played softly in a dramatic moment for fans to catch on their own. I have to admit that I am a little disappointed. How do you …

New animated Pokemon Black and White Version 2 trailer is fit for a movie! [video]

To promote the newest Pokemon game, Nintendo has released an all new trailer for Pokemon Black and White Version 2. However, this is new normal trailer. This particular trailer is fully animated and fit to be for the newest Pokemon movie or show and it makes me wish it was! But maybe that was Nintendo's intention. Maybe this video game trailer is also a glimpse of what is to come for the next movie/show.

This is a pretty good length trailer at just over 6 minutes but you get to see some great characters and some amazing animated pokemon battles. Enjoy!
