Functional Iron Man laser gauntlet! [video]

Comic fans always wish that they could become a superhero and save the day in some heroic way but those aspirations usually stop at the "wish" level. However, one fan has become one step closer to the real thing by creating a working Iron Man gauntlet. Marvel fan Patrick Priebe created his own gauntlet complete with a retractable laser gun!

In the video below you can see the laser take out some balloon targets. The entire mechanism was handmade with two 1.2-watt blue lasers. The lasers are fired from the firearm and the palm repulsor. The entire mechanism is powered by two lithium-ion batteries and even has targeting lasers for aiming. The video shows you the mechanism in several stages of development and is truly amazing.
