Dan Aykroyd talks about the plot to Ghostbusters 3! [video]

Dan Aykroyd was a guest on Larry King Now and answered a few questions about the upcoming Ghostbusters 3 film!

As to be expected Aykroyd confirmed again that at the moment Bill Murray will not be involved in the film. But he does make a special note to say that if at any time Murray has a change of heart that they can fit him into the film in some way without question. The really cool part is that in the interview, Aykroyd reveals some information about the plot of Ghostbusters 3.
"We’re going to have to cast. We need four new ghostbusters. We need four new Columbia students.
It’s based upon new research that’s being done in particle physics by the young men and women at Columbia University. Basically there’s research being done that…I can say that the world or our dimension that we live in, our four planes of existence, length, height, width, and time, become threatened by some of the research that is being done. And ghostbusters, new ghostbusters have to come and some the problem."
This sounds pretty cool and reminds me a little of the storyline from the 1997 animated series Extreme Ghostbusters. It's sad that Murray will not be in the film but I am excited for it all the same!
