Fresh take on the Doctor Who intro features Peter Capaldi literally flying through time! [video]

YouTuber and Doctor Who fan "billydikaduk" has created a completely original intro for the new season of the show that will star Peter Capaldi as the Doctor. This intro is a completely fresh take which shows the TARDIS flying through the components of the Doctor's fob watch and it is incredibly well done.

"The time vortex in my version is a metaphor for time travel - the Tardis is literally flying through time.

The face at the end morphs 2 stills into 1 - to get the smile. PC's face is meant to look like a reflection (less obvious with the Youtube compression).

All in all - I wanted to create something with no rules... as if this was a new show... but something which gave the viewer an hint about the premise.

It's an idea, simple as that :) "
