Beautiful backlit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES mod!

Take a look at this amazing backlit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES mod (short for modification) that D.I.Y./mod magician PlatinumFungi has made! This original Nintendo Entertainment System has had a custom remodel to feature the turtles from TMNT. "For the past few years, I've been creating 'Backlit NES' systems. I had the idea back in 2009 but at that time I really had no idea how to turn my idea into a reality. Slowly but surely since then I have experimented and improved my techniques with each system I built. This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles system is the newest and most advanced one yet!

To my knowledge, no one has ever created something like this before, so it is currently the FIRST and ONLY of its kind in the ENTIRE WORLD.  

Besides the backlit cut out design of the Ninja Turtles on top, there are also custom decals for the AV ports on the side and rear of the system that match the new paint job. The controllers have custom overlays portraying each of the four turtles as well!

The amazing paint job was done by my good friend 'Custom NES Guy'. His skill for painting is almost legendary on the internet. He's been painting cars for ages, and moved on to customizing gaming systems over 5 years ago. He used real automotive grade paint that was applied in exactly the same manner that you'd use for a show car. He used automotive base coat clear coat system, and buffed it to a mirror shine."
