Wonder Woman art is simply beautiful!

Image
Here is an amazing piece of fan art by artist sakimichan of the DC superheroine, Wonder Woman. The piece is beautifully drawn and uses great colors and shadowing.
"Wonder woman, I love love this character, I remember when I was younger , I always use to watch the justice league in the morning, was so awesome XD I might refine this a bit more or try something different with the hair later : ) " What do you think of this piece of art?

Back to the Future's DeLorean takes center stage in amazing art!

Image
Here are two fantastic Back to the Future art pieces created by artist Paul Shipper featuring the DeLorean time machine. The original piece and its variant (pictured below the original) have a brilliant look to them. They aren't bright and flashy yet you still know exactly what movie is being shown to you.
"I can only hope that this take on BTTF will connect with a few of you out there the way it does with me. The DeLorean has always been one of the coolest cars on the planet (thanks to the films) and I wanted to try and capture the car and the essence of the time travel device and its heart, the Flux Capacitor, without including the main cast in a way that when when you see it you know exactly what it is. It wouldn't be Back to the Future without the DeLorean."

Find out the the true power of Force Ghosts in Star Wars!

Image
Fans always wondered and speculated why exactly one of the ending scenes from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi was changed after the prequel trilogy was made. The scene in question has Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker return to greet Luke as "ghosts" and appear the age they were when they died. However, when the change was made, Anakin was changed to the younger version that we had just seen in the prequel trilogy. Why could Anakin come back younger looking but not Yoda or Obi-Wan?

Well this great comic from Dorkly has given us a hilarious answer. Find out the true power of "Force Ghosts" in Star Wars and why Anakin appeared as his younger self!

Tetris in real life!

Image
Even construction workers and crane operators need to let loose and have a little fun every once in a while. It seems that this work site agrees. Take a look at this photo by Russian artist and photographer Sergey Akinfiev that features a game of Tetris being played on a construction site where the pieces are so large they need to be put in place by a crane! This is definitely a fun photo!

Pokemon's new starters share a look with the cast of Bob's Burgers!

Image
With Nintendo's recent announcement of Pokemon X and Y, fans have been discussing the new game with anyone that they can get to listen. One fan however has noticed something particularly funny about the new starter pokemon. The new starters Chespin (Grass), Fennekin (Fire), and Froakie (Water) have a very similar look to the children of the animated comedy Bob's Burgers. Below you can see the children standing along side their respective starters. I'd like to think that the childrens' unique personalities from the show would be the same for the starters too.

A big thank you to Kevin J. for the heads up on this great comparison art work!

Arkham Daycare!

Image
Batman fans will definitely want to check out this brilliant piece of art from Paul Hostetler that shows us Arkham Daycare where Batman's biggest villains are all being looked after while their parents are getting some much needed time away from them. The characters themselves are drawn perfectly and the concept behind the drawing is fantastic.
"L'il Arkham Daycare.  There are a bunch of l'il superhero art things (that's what they're called now) out on the web, but they all seem so darn literal in taking characters and smushing them into smaller versions, so I wanted to do something different and portray the Batman crazies as ACTUAL mayhem-causing tots, wrecking up Arkham Daycare for the Criminally Insane (A.K.A. Children).  So a little thanks is in order to l'il Maggie Prevatt, whom I modeled l'il Harley Quinn after.  I swear, she is that cute.

In the background you can see traces of l'il Penguin and l'il Catwoman, since I don't …

Legolas solves the problem of The Lord of the Rings' One Ring.

Image
Here is another great solution that gets around the plot of The Lord of the Rings. Fans always like to debate about "Why didn't the fellowship just do this," or "They could have taken this route and had it been shorter," but now Legolas is stepping into the light with his own solution.
