The Legend of Zelda trailer for the incredible CG film that almost was! [video]

Image
A new (but really old) trailer is beginning to circulate for a CG The Legend of Zelda movie that was trying to get made back in 2007. Obviously the CG film was never created but the trailer has left me, a huge fan of The Legend of Zelda, wanting more. The CG look of the trailer is fantastic, there is some great action, and I like that Link is modeled after the look he had in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Princess Zelda has a great new look and Ganondorf has a younger look than we have seen in the games (which fans may say looks a bit odd).

Unfortunately, the creator of the Vimeo video has set restrictions to where the video can be embedded so I could not post the video in this article. But I recommend everyone click on the source link below and check out the video.

Would you be interested to see how this CG film would have looked if it had been able to be completed? What did you think of the footage shown?

Actor Misha Collins is best known for his role on the show Supernatural as "Castiel; Jimmy Novak, Himself, God, Leviathan, Emmanuel" but he has just tweeted something that could very well interest Doctor Who fans everywhere.

also, in totally unrelated news, i'll have a very exciting announcement tomorrow. Hint: it has something to do with the UK and phone booths.
— Misha Collins (@mishacollins) August 3, 2013

Now at first glance you might think that this has to do with the big announcement for the actor who will play the Twelfth Doctor tomorrow but there are a few curious points to look at first. Firt of all, Misha Collins is American (from Boston, Massachusetts). Its a hard pill to swallow that the BBC would cast an American in the role, no matter how good their English accent is. Second, and this is a small one, its curious that he said "phone booths" instead of "police box" but this could just be looking too deep. I'm more inclined to believe …

Batman gets a new look in a great fan art variation!

Image
Deviant Artist, CoranKizerStone, has come up with a great piece of art that offers fans a variation on the Batman character. The piece still has the classic Batman look while updating small details to really bring it to a new world. I actually really like the Bat-logo on his chest going back and blending in with his cape. What do you think of the Caped Crusader's new look?

Disney and Lucas Film revealed some big news concerning the new animated Star Wars show that they are bringing to Disney XD next year (2014) at Star Wars Celebration Europe. As well as showing fans the show's logo they revealed some really cool concept art as well as a synopsis for the show! "For Star Wars Rebels, fans were given their first look at the Ghost, which will be the main character's ship and play a big part in the series, as well as a computer rendering of a very McQuarrie-esque Stormtrooper, the interior of a Star Destroyer, and more. The show's logo, a minimalist yet powerful design, is notable for its orange and black color scheme, which recalls the flight suit colors of Rebel pilots in the original Star Wars trilogy. The series is set between the events of Episode III and IV -- an era spanning almost two decades never-before explored on-screen. It takes place in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of th…
