What actors would play the Doctor if Doctor Who was an American show?

The British sci-fi show Doctor Who has just passed it's 50th Anniversary and there is no arguing that the show is, and has been, a phenomenal hit. But one Doctor Who fan on tumblr, Smug Mode, has been wondering what the show would be like if it were an American production. They have cast their American Doctors and have shared it with the world which can be seen below. I have to say that they did a pretty good job at casting all of the roles while staying true to that particular Doctor's personality. (Though I do not know if I would be able to watch Christopher Walken as the 6th Doctor.) Take a look at who made the cut and let me know what you think of these castings and it you would have enjoyed that actor in the title role.
