Could Marvel be canceling their Fantastic Four comics to snub Fox?

It is being reported that Marvel could be planning a way to get the rights of their Fantastic Four characters back from Twentieth Century Fox. How? Be canceling all Fantastic Four comics which would include both the 616-Universe and the Ultimate Universe!

A few years back when Marvel had gone into bankruptcy, they had sold the rights to the Fantastic Four to Fox but it has always haunted Marvel that they do not own the founding family's rights. (The Fantastic Four is unarguably the founding family of the Marvel name.) By canceling all Fantastic Four comics Marvel hopes to stop promoting the characters owned by Fox and therefore hurt sales of the films. It should be known that although the title comics will end that the characters themselves will still appear in other comics such as The Avengers.

Although this is currently still a rumor things seem to be pointing in the direction that this could be true. Ultimate FF #6 comes with the following solicitation:
"ULTIMATE FF #6
(W) Joshua Hale Fialkov (A/CA) Andre Araujo
• The ULTIMATE UNIVERSE’S worst nightmare approaches
• Jump into the future of the Ultimate Universe as the DOOMSDAY CLOCK counts down.
• The END of the FUTURE FOUNDATION.
8/13/2014 $3.99"
It is also being said that Marvel has taken down artwork of the Fantastic Four from the offices. Eagle-eyed fans may have also noticed that the Fantastic Four were not on the promotion art for Marvel's 75th Anniversary. Similar tactics are being used with not promoting the X-Men comics however those books are too popular to completely cancel.

Do you think this is a smart move by Marvel? Do you think this could have the results that Marvel are hoping for?
