Master swordsmith forges William Wallace's claymore from Braveheart in real life! [video]

Master swordsmith Tony Swatton turned to a more historical blade for this week's "Man At Arms" video. He took fans' suggestions and forged William Wallace's claymore from the film Braveheart! A claymore is the Scottish variant of the late medieval two-handed longsword. Swatton makes a comment that he thinks that this build may be his favorite from this season's builds since it is more of a historical piece rather than a fantasy piece from a video game or anime. I have to agree that watching this sword be forged did have an extra bit of coolness to it knowing that soldiers once really fought with this weapon. The resulting sword, the claymore, looks fantastic and down right scary if you are on the wrong end of the blade. Enjoy!
