It looks like Fox's Deadpool film may be rated PG-13.

Fan exploded with joy when it was announced that Fox would be making the Deadpool film that we have all been waiting for. The release date has been set by Fox for February 12, 2016 and that date would not come soon enough! However, it seems that in order to make the certain things had to be done.

It appears that the Deadpool film got the green light because the script was rewritten to accommodate a PG-13 rating. The news comes from the "Meet the Movie Press" podcast which is always a fun podcast to watch and listen to. Everyone should check it out. I've included the podcast at the bottom of this article and the Deadpool news can be found at the 22 minute mark.
"I heard from the director that they finally figured out the script, and it was right before this was announced, that they figured out, and you guys are all gonna hate this, they figured out how to make it PG-13. And therefore 'not lose its soul,' and that' a quote, of the script so that they can make it."
This news comes to a blow to fans who wanted to see "the merc with a mouth" in his full form. He has that nickname because he curses quite a lot and never shuts up and then he is slicing off body parts with his various weapons. So now I wonder what the character will be like. They do quote that the character will not lose his soul so I am definitely interested to see how this all turns out. Many expected that Fox would be okay with making an R film for Deadpool but something must have been rubbing them the wrong way with the original script.

How do you feel about the news that Deadpool could be a PG-13 film? Would you still be willing to see it?
