Harry Potter spin-off "Fantastic Beasts" gets a confirmed director and could more more than a trilogy!

It appears that fans of the Harry Potter franchise may be getting more than they expected with the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them film adaptations!

Fans were aware that the book would be transformed into a trilogy but it seems now that it could be more than that.
"The Studio will release three pictures, in 2016, 2018 and 2020, based on best-selling author J.K. Rowling’s original story and screenwriting debut, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” Set in an extension of her familiar wizarding world, featuring magical creatures and characters inspired by Harry Potter’s Hogwarts textbook and its fictitious author, Newt Scamander, “Fantastic Beasts” will be directed by David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter movies, and reunite the filmmaking team of David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram."
It was then revealed by Kevin Tsujihara, the CEO of Warner Bros., that the Fantastic Beasts film series would "at least" be a trilogy. This makes it sound like if the first films do well that Warner Bros. is definitely open to making more films in the franchise. This is fantastic news!
