The Emperor from Star Wars has his first name revealed! Find out what it is!

When the world was introduced to the evil emperor from the Star Wars franchise he was introduced simply as Emperor Palpatine. Since that introduction the Emperor has held several different titles which included "Senator" and "Chancellor". As the story unfolded fans found out some of the deeper secrets of the Emperor but the one thing that was never discovered was his first name! Come to think of it, how many fans out there even wondered about his first name?

It appears that in the upcoming book Star Wars: Tarkin written by James Luceno that the emperor's name is revealed on page 93.

The emperor's first name is ... Sheev! That's right! The emperor's name is Sheev Palpatine.

I am not sure what I was personally expecting but I guess Sheev is an alright name? Not exactly one that strikes fear in the heart of people though. I know I am not pronouncing it right. How do you feel about his name? Do you like it or will you still be referring to the emperor as Emperor Palpatine / Darth Sidious?
