20th Century Fox releases the first teaser trailer for Fantastic Four!

20th Century Fox has just released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming film Fantastic Four. The trailer has a slower, darker tone to it and is a true teaser as it only gives fans a glimpse of the team and their abilities. I'm interested to see more but I have to say that this seems like a weaker teaser trailer. Especially for a film that is already fighting an uphill battle with fans because of some changes made to the characters' origins and story. I will say though, even though you do not get a proper front view of him, that The Thing looks pretty cool. I like the jagged edges and more rock like appearance this time around. I'm hoping that as more footage is released that this film will start to look really cool.

"Four young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy."

Fantastic Four will be in theaters on August 7, 2015.
