New Power Rangers fan film takes the Rangers to some awesomely dark and gritty places!

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were a huge part of many people's childhoods (including mine) and the love for them has remained strong to this day. Thanks to producer Adi Shankar and director Joseph Kahn, a new 14 fan film has been released that will blow Power Rangers fans' minds!

This new fan film takes a look at the Rangers when they are a little older and takes things to a really dark and gritty reality that is absolutely amazing!  It stars Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and James Van Der Beek (Dawson's Creek).

This film centers around the Pink Ranger Kimberly (Katee Sackhoff) being brutally interrogated by traitor Red Ranger Rocky (James Van Der Beek) who is trying to find out where Green Ranger Tommy is. The video will show you what happened to the various Rangers as they got older as well as some other surprise guest character cameos.

This video is absolutely amazing and makes you look at the Power Rangers in a new way. Realizing that these teenagers were weaponized and trained to fight in a intergalactic war that they knew nothing about changes the way you look at the bigger picture of things.
""Who would have thought that weaponizing youth and training them to kill could have turned out so ugly for so many of them?""
*Strong language and graphic violence is heard and seen in this video.

Below you can watch a video with Adi Shankar talking about why he wanted to make this film.
"When I was a child I had two favorite TV shows the X-Men animated series and Power Rangers. I eventually came to the realization that high school kids weaponized to fight an intergalactic threat would turn those kids into some seriously disturbed adults."
