Actress Olivia Munn is cast as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse!
In a surprise move, director Bryan Singer has just announced on his Instagram account that the role of Betsy Braddock, aka Psylocke, has been cast!
Singer announced that actress Olivia Munn (The Newsroom, Mortdecai) has been cast as Elisabeth "Betsy" Braddock. Braddock is a telepathic and telekinetic mutant who is a skilled martial artist and a threat to anyone she goes up against. If Munn does certain things to fit the character I think she could do "okay" in the role (depending on how large of a role it is) but I will have to admit that this is an odd casting. There are many skilled actresses out there who would have been better suited for this role.
How do you feel about Munn landing the role as Betsy Braddock in the upcoming film?
