DC Comics announces Frank Miller will return to conclude his Dark Knight trilogy with "The Dark Knight III: The Master Race"!

Huge news, DC fans! It has just been announced by DC Comics that iconic comic writer and artist Frank Miller will be returning to DC Comics to conclude his Dark Knight trilogy!

The newest chapter in the saga will follow the events of the wildly popular 1986 classic The Dark Knight Returns and the (not as popular) 2001-2002 Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again. It has been revealed that the title for the new chapter will be The Dark Knight III: The Master Race

Frank Miller will be joined by writer Brian Azzarello (100 Bullets, Joker, and Wonder Woman) and will be published this Fall on a bi monthly schedule.

"“Batman remains my favorite comic book hero and a sequel to Dark Knight is going to be daunting," said Miller, "but we’ll do our best.”"
DC Entertainment commented on the return of Frank Miller and spoke about the exciting story that has been created.

"“We are thrilled to have Frank back home at DC writing Batman,” according to Dan DiDio and Jim Lee, Co-Publishers for DC Entertainment. “The story he and Brian have crafted is an astounding and triumphant conclusion to this seminal body of work which influenced and shaped generations of readers and creators alike.”"
This is all very excited news and it'll be amazing to see what kind of story Miller and Azzarello have come up with to conclude the Dark Knight trilogy. Are you excited at the news of Miller's return and the new Batman story that he'll be writing?
