Fans launch an X-Wing model into space in hopes of getting premiere tickets to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

In an effort to get tickets for the VIP Premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, two men from England, Matt Kingsnorth and Phil St. Pier, created an extremely clever video in hopes to get the attention of director J.J. Abrams. The two men attached a Go-Pro camera to a high-altitude weather balloon and sent up a model of an X-Wing star fighter into outer space. The video shows the X-Wing floating in space with a Star Wars style scroll with a message to J.J. Abrams asking for tickets to the premiere in hopes that he'll be impressed with their use of practical effects.

Best of luck!
