Actress Tilda Swinton is in talks to play The Ancient One in Marvel's Doctor Strange!
Some big news is circulating about Marvel's Doctor Strange film from the casting department! It appears as though Marvel is in talks with actress Tilda Swinton (The Chronicles of Narnia, Snowpiercer) to play the role of "The Ancient One".
This is a very interesting casting choice since The Ancient One is always depicted as a very old man but I can actually see Swinton in the role. The Ancient One once held the title of Earth's Sorcerer Supreme (greatest magic wielder on Earth) but the title is eventually handed down to Doctor Stephen Strange (who will be played by actor Benedict Cumberbatch in the film) who is trained by The Ancient One.
