Happy 10th Anniversary, Nintendo World Store!
It's hard to believe but today marks the 10th Anniversary of the Nintendo World Store in New York City, NY! The Nintendo World Store took over for the Pokemon Center when it closed down in 2005 and the store has been the center of gaming events ever since. I've had the pleasure of attending quite a number of events at Nintendo World from game and console launches to franchise anniversary parties and orchestral events. It truly is a great store and a great place to meet up with friends (and streetpass!) and hang out for a little while.
A friend of mine who goes by the alias "KirbyGCN17" has created this fantastic appreciation video from various videos that he has shot over the years. (Definitely be sure to check out and follow his YouTube channel for great Nintendo World Store event videos.) The footage used spans from 2008 to 2015 and really gives fans a great look at what Nintendo World has to offer the gaming community. Wonderful work!
Also, Keep an eye out for me dressed in my Link cosplay (The Legend of Zelda) at the 1:06 mark (kneeling down, center of the video)!
