The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair is coming to theaters and will reboot the Chronicles franchise.

Though many fans assumed they had taken their last trip to Narnia it appears that those thoughts may have been premature. The last film from this series released was Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 2010. Now producer Mark Gordon has done an interview with Collider that reveals that the franchise will be rebooted with The Silver Chair. During the interview Gordon said,
"“We’re hoping to be able to make the movie very shortly. We’re very excited about it.”
Speaking about the original cast returning, Gordon stated,
"“No, it’s all going to be a brand new franchise. All original. All original characters, different directors, and an entire new team that this is coming from.”"
It's exciting that the franchise is coming back but a little sad that they are rebooting the entire thing. I enjoyed the first two films (The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian) but the third (Voyage of the Dawn Treader) felt a little off. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe was amazing so if they tackle that film again it'll be very interesting to see a new take on it and how it is.

Are you excited to see the franchise coming back? Are you a fan of The Silver Chair?
