See the Weasley family cast photos from Harry Potter and The Cursed Child.

The first official photos of the Weasley family has been released for the upcoming British play Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. This story will pick up 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. The photo features Ron Weasley, played by Paul Thornley, Hermione Weasley, played by Noma Dumezweni, and their daughter Rose Weasley, played by Cherrelle Skeete.

While talking about Rose, Rowling states;

"“Rose is like her mother, but more secure, more grounded. She was born to wizards and knows her place in the world. Cherrelle plays her perfectly: bossy but deeply lovable.”"

Cherrelle Skeete then added about her character Rose;

"Rose is “ambitious,” “quite similar” to Hermione in that she puts pressure on herself, and “just wants to do the right thing.”"

Harry Potter and The Cursed Child will have previews beginning on June 7, 2016 at the Palace Theatre in London and the script book will be on store shelves on July 31, 2016.
