Legendary Pictures is developing a live action Pokemon film based on Great Detective Pikachu.

Big news, Pokemon fans! It has been announced that Legendary Pictures will be developing a live action Pokemon film! The film will be based on the recently released Japanese game Great Detective Pikachu. News of a Pokemon film have been circulating for some time but it comes as a shock, to me at least, that the studio has decided to base the film on Great Detective Pikachu.

The game itself is based on a intelligent, talking Pikachu who teams up with a young boy to solve various mysteries. Not much information has been released for the film but it is great to finally get some sort of confirmation that a Pokemon film is coming.
