New poster for Gotham season 3 features a mask from The Court of Owls.

It was revealed in season 2 that The Court of Owls were pulling strings with Hugo Strange on Fox's Gotham but it now appears as though they'll be playing a much bigger role in season 3.

Fox released this poster for Gotham which features an owl mask that is worn by the Court. Fans of the comic Batman storyline for The Court of Owls will realize that this is a new design for the mask. The comic one was all white, slick, and covered the entire face where this one looks as though it will only cover the top half of the face.

I loved the comic storyline so I am excited to see what the shows will introduce with the Court and how far they'll take it.

Gotham returns to Fox on September 19, 2016.
