NBC's Powerless receives a new synopsis that moves the show's company to Wayne Enterprises.

It appears that NBC has been very busy when it comes to their upcoming comedy Powerless. Originally, this show was based on an insurance company dealing with the after effects of superheroes and their actions. The pilot episode was even premiered at San Diego Comic Con. However it seems that given viewer and studio feedback, NBC has decided to shake things up and change things around. Instead of an insurance company the company is now a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises that creates personal security products for civilaians. Take a look at the show's new synopsis:
"In a world where humanity must cope with the collateral damage of Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) begins her first day as Director of Research & Development for Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises that specializes in products that make defenseless bystanders feel a little safer. Full of confidence and big ideas, Emily quickly learns that her expectations far exceed those of her new boss (Alan Tudyk) and officemates, so it will be up to her to lead the team toward their full potential and the realization that you don’t need superpowers to be a hero."
What do you think of the new setting for the show? Do you think it will change the show's premise or just just the location while keeping the same feeling?
