Image
Kylo Ren is back and this time he is taking the time to review the newest Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Kylo doesn't hold anything back in his review (spoiler warning!) and some of the things that he points out is actually pretty spot on. You have to love when he talking talking about his grandfather's (Darth Vader) role in the film. Amazing.

Enjoy this fantastic review from Kylo Ren.

New image from Wonder Woman has Princess Diana stealing the "God Killer" sword.

Image
Take a look at this new photo for the upcoming Wonder Woman film that was released by Entertainment Weekly! It features Gal Gadot as Princess Diana, aka Wonder Woman, stealing the "God Killer" sword which is an Amazonian mythical sword.  Entertainment weekly reveals that this is the moment that Diana decides to disobey her mother, Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), and help save humanity. Director Patty Jenkins goes on to state,

"“This is her moment. She’s heard all the terrible things about man’s land. But she’s also heard that mankind is in need and under duress. This is her great moment to make the decision to be the one to try and save them.”" This movie is shaping up to be really exciting and I am excited to see it. I feel that this will be the best out of the DCEU (DC Extended Universe) films.

Wonder Woman will be in theaters on June 2, 2017.

Super Power Beat Down - Wolverine vs Wonder Woman (Alternate intro and ending with Wolverine victory).

Image
The newest Super Power Beat Down from Bat in the Sun featured Marvel's Wolverine going up against DC's Wonder Woman. In the original video, Wonder Woman wind up taking Wolverine down after a brutal fight. (Watch the original video here.) Now a new version of the fight has been released that has a slightly different introduction as well as a new ending that has Wolverine winning the fight. Some of the acting may still be a little rough but I have to say that I enjoyed this version of the video much more than the first. Take a look and see if you agree. Enjoy.

New poster for the upcoming X-Men show "Legion" shows an explosion of power.

Image
FX has released a new poster for their upcoming Marvel show Legion. For those unfamiliar, Legion is from the X-Men franchise and is the son of Professor X in the comics. This new poster shows David Haller's (aka Legion) head exploding with psychic power. The thing I actually love about this is that the explosion actually mirrors Legion's extremely tall hair cut from the comics. Well done!

Show synopsis:
"Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real."
The really cool thing is that each of David's powers are controlled by a different personality and they may not all have David's best interest in mind when using them.

Legion premieres on Feb. 8, 2017, at 10 p.m. ET on FX.

Honest Trailers - Mortal Kombat!

Image
Screen Junkies has finally tackled a film franchise that fans have been asking for for quite some time, Mortal Kombat! This new Honest Trailer features both Mortal Kombat (1995) and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997).

I actually really liked the first film but the second on the other hand was pretty awful. Filled with fighters who can't act and actors who can't fight, there was plenty for Screen Junkies to make fun of in these films. This was definitely a fun Honest Trailer to watch.

"Before you watch Assassin's Creed try to shake off all the video game movie stink that came before it, strap in for two movies full of fighters who can't act and actors who can't fight - Mortal Kombat!" Enjoy.

Fantastic Beasts' Katherine Waterston looks badass in a new Alien: Covenant photo.

Image
Take a look at this exciting new photo released by Entertainment Weekly for Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant that features actress Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) as Daniels. Waterson looks completely badass here readying her gun and giving off a definite Ellen Ripley vibe.

I know this is one film that I will definitely be seeing in 2017 and cannot wait for it to hit theaters. I have always loved the Alien franchise.

Alien: Covenant will be in theaters on May 19, 2017.

New Justice League photo offers a new look at Flash, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

Image
A brand new photo from the upcoming Justice League film has been released and it offers a new look at Flash (Ezra miller), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). This is one team up that I cannot wait to see.

Ezra Miller who is playing the Flash offered a few thoughts on his character by stating,
"“Flash is Ringo Starr. He annoys everybody, but he doesn’t have any specific beef with anyone.”" He continues by giving Flash’s assessment of his new team members.
"“Uncle Fish Curry [Aquaman] is very grumpy. Dad [Batman] gets grumpy too. (He’s had a long life of fighting crime.) Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she’s annoyed with the Flash, she’s still very compassionate.”" It's going to be great to see how Flash interacts with everyone and the tone that his involvement will set. I can't wait.

Justice League will be in theaters on November 17, 2017.

Take a look at this amazingly fun video that has the characters of Studio Ghibli visiting the real world. This video was created by Korean filmmaker Kojer. The editing of the characters into the real world was done perfectly and it is really fascinating to see where all the characters wound up and what they are up to. To top it all off, the video plays Spirited Away's "One Summer’s Day" in the background to give it that truly magical feel. Enjoy.

How Star Wars Should Have Ended (Special Edition).

Image
How It Should Have Ended has released a new Special Edition episode for the original Star Wars (Episode IV: A New Hope). They did a marvelous job and as always point out some truly funny moments in the film by showing you how they should have really gone. See C-3PO and R2-D2's escape pod blown up, Princess Leia be blamed for the entire imperial attack, and more.
"How Star Wars Should Have Ended (Special Edition). Years ago the classic Star Wars HISHE caught the eye of the internet and was the episode that launched our channel into life. It holds a very special place in our hearts. But as the years passed we started seeing requests for a "special edition" since the original didn't quite match the style of our later HISHE episodes. And since it's Star Wars season, we thought now would be a fun time to give the old episode the George Lucas updates she deserves. Enjoy!" Enjoy.
