Director Matt Reeves throws out The Batman script to start over from scratch.

Although there had been rumors and speculation, fans now know the current status of the upcoming DC film The Batman. This new film will star current Batman, Ben Affleck, and originally had a script written by Affleck, Chris Terrio, and Geoff Johns. However, new director Matt Reeves has just confirmed that that script has been thrown out and that he is starting from scratch.

He was recently asked if he would be working with Ben Affleck's script to which he replied,
""No, it’s a new story. It’s just starting again. I’m excited about it. I think it’s going to be really cool.”"
We knew that as a part of the old script that actor Joe Manganiello was set to play the assassin villain Deathstroke. With this new change however it is completely likely that Deathstroke will not be making an appearance in this new film which is a shame.

Do you think it was a good idea to start from scratch? Will you be upset if Deathstroke does not appear in the film?
