Nintendo's iconic video game character, Mario, is no longer a plumber.

Image
Mario, the video game icon for Nintendo, has had many jobs over the years. His most notable job however was as a plumber. Nintendo recently updated Mario's Japanese profile which aludes to the fact that our favorite video game plumber is in fact no longer a plumber.

Kotaku translated his new profile which states:
"All around sporty, whether it’s tennis or baseball, soccer or car racing, he [Mario] does everything cool. As a matter of fact, he also seems to have worked as a plumber a long time ago..."

Image and description of Poe Dameron's new X-Wing revealed for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Image
Empire magazine keeps rolling out some amazing content for Star Wars: The Last Jedi that will be featured in their October issue. The newest released image is of Poe Dameron's new X-Wing which is codenamed "Black One". This new Star fighter is retrofitted with additional rocket thruster for an added boost.
"The X-Wing (an Incom-FreiTek T-70, to be precise) has, according to Rian Johnson, been specially modified by Resistance engineers, with a temporary accelerator pod affixed to the aft section. According to The Last Jedi director, the pod, when primed, increases Dameron's speed, allowing him to outrun First Order cannon emplacements. It's just a temporary boost and will burn out quickly but it's enough to get beyond the barrage of turbo laser fire from First Order Star Destroyers such as the one depicted in the image."
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be in theaters on December 15, 2017.

7 times that games were sick of gamer's nonsense and punished them for it.

Image
It's inevitable that at some point in a video game the gamer strays off the game's path to screw around or explore a little. These periods of exploration can sometimes be rewarded but there are some games that punish the player for straying from the course.

Attack a cucco in The Legend of Zelda too many times and an angry flock of them will fly to you and relentlessly attack you. In Deus Ex: Human Revolution if you take too long to rescue a hostage you are tasked to save, they are killed and you are blamed for your incompetence.

What are some of your favorite games to explore and waste time in?

Watch the official animated TL;DR from Marvel for the Avengers vs X-Men storyline.

Image
Marvel has released a great TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read) for their Avengers vs X-Men storyline and if you've never had the chance to read the series then it's definitely worth checking out.

Although this was a pretty great storyline, there were one or two things that fans felt was a little off. That won't be highlighted here of course but this is a great watch for comic fans to find out what happened when two great Marvel forces clashed. Enjoy.
